世界軌跡樂團
一舉勇奪今年第22屆傳統暨藝術音樂類金曲獎「最佳專輯製作人獎」及「最佳跨界音樂專輯獎」的世界軌跡樂團(Orbit Folks)，開啟了一場跨界的音樂旅程。一個來自台灣深具創意的音樂企劃，類型來自世界各地，而音樂家們的專長與領域也不盡相同。由來自比利時的爵士低音大提家及作曲家吳馬丁(Martijn Vanbuel)領軍，結合了爵士、民謠、印度音樂、猶太音樂、東歐的巴爾幹、地中海風格彼此交織、沉澱、並激盪出新的創意與聲響，流露出最自然、最深情的共鳴與感動。
有別於一般流行音樂四拍節奏的框架，世界軌跡Orbit Folks善用東歐、印度等的基數節拍，如五拍、七拍甚至十一拍的挑戰，給予音樂耳目一新的節奏組合。而即興段落也是世界軌跡Orbit Folks的一大特色，每一次的即興段落，都是一段美麗又精彩的對話。
自2008年成立以來，世界軌跡Orbit Folks已於台灣各大音樂節及大專院校演出數十場，榮獲金曲獎兩項大獎肯定的世界軌跡樂團Orbit Folks，更希望朝向國際發展，不斷嘗試與創新，帶領各位一探世界民族與爵士融合的魅力!

Orbit Folks brings together people from different nationalities and different musical backgrounds to experiment in combining jazz, folk, classical, world and improvisation in their music. Lead by Belgian double-bassist and composer Martijn Vanbuel they further consist of Toshihiro Wakaike on tabla, Mike Tseng on piano and Stephane Huang on violin. Orbit Folks has put out their first album “The Missing Link”, which in 2011 was granted 2 Golden Melody Awards out of 5 nominations, one for best producer and one for best crossover album.
